Steve has a vast training history spanning 23 years. Originally trained in Taekwondo and currently teaching as a 3rd Dan instructor, he has also trained in gymnastics, conventional and Olympic weightlifting and kettlebells for the last 8 years. As a level 3 personal trainer and performance enhancement specialist with the National Academy of Sports Medicine he is more than capable of helping you identify and achieve your goals.
He has realised more and more the importance of the mindset and our mental processing through a degree in psychology and after training as a master NLP practitioner. “As you think so you become” perfectly captures the importance of getting the head right before and during training as well as in every other area of life.
Steve’s approach is to assess and correct any biomechanical imbalances and then fully prepare the body and mind for the journey ahead as we both achieve your training goals. Having a vast training history and experience he is able to ensure every session is unique and challenging and is able to give you skills that have life long value.

I've worked with Steve presenting Kettlebell workshops over the years now. I choose to work with those who I believe not only possess knowledge and practice what they preach, but those who possess great teaching skills and have a lot to offer, and above all have integrity in what they do. I consider Steve to be one of those people. He has a simplistic and personable approach, and combined with his depth of understanding this sets him apart from some of the other Kettlebell coaches currently available in the UK. I would not hesitate to recommend him.

CJS Fitness'There are many people out there 'teaching' kettlebells or other old school strength methods - but Steve is the real deal and strong with it too! As any good trainer should, he practices what he preaches and has great ability to pass that on to his students whether they are new to it all or relatively experienced. If you want to broaden your knowledge and skills with bells, clubs, tyres, or get yourself a bone-crushing grip then Steve is your man. I highly recommend him.

I have known Stephen since March 2007, when I made my first purchase from London Kettlebells. I have attended two kettlebell training workshops where he was involved in teaching, and would happily attend more. As a martial arts instructor of well over a decade’s experience, I have been very impressed by his ability, both as an instructor and as a practitioner. His teaching is clear and engaging, and his manner is friendly, approachable, encouraging and professional. Nothing is too much trouble for him – telephone calls to order kettlebells often turn into ad hoc consultations which never fail to give useful input, or to reassure me that I can improve!
I have been a martial artist since the age of 11, and now, at almost 46 years of age, kettlebell training has played the major role in putting me in the best physical condition of my life. Using kettlebells has also rehabilitated a back injury which had flared up every 10-13 weeks for over 10 years, causing extreme pain and temporary disability. As a kettlebell trainer based at the Bob Breen Academy (where I have taught since 1997), kettlebells have been extremely popular since I introduced them in May this year. I get particular pleasure from helping clients to achieve strength, conditioning and mobility gains that they find surprising. Even more satisfying are the clients who have reported relief from back and shoulder problems after starting their kettlebell training (four since May, and counting).
I wholeheartedly recommend Stephen as a kettlebell trainer of very great ability.
Steve Wright.
